Attesting Russian documents, legalization

Before you can use a document that was issued within Russia in the UAE, it will need to be attested. Whether it is a birth, marriage or death certificate, an educational qualification or in fact any other personal or company document that originates from Russia, let us process the attestation for you to save you precious time.

Attesting Russian documents to be used in the UAE can be a highly complex matter. Depending upon the type of document, as well as which authority it needs to be presented to, there are multiple requirements that are needed which change from document to documents.

Arabic translation is usually required for use in all emirates other than Dubai, and also if the document is to be used within one of the Dubai Free Zone authorities including (but not limited to) the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC).

The legalization of the Russian documents to be used abroad is usually done with the following scheme:

⦁ The notary office in Russian attestate a copy of the document and its true translation into a foreign language.
⦁ The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation indicate the authenticity of the signature and seal of a notary.
⦁ Consular Department of Russian Foreign Ministry confirms authenticity of the seal and signature of the Russian Justice Ministry official.
⦁ After the legalization of the Consular Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry documents must be legalized by the Consular Section of the Embassy or the Consulate General of the State where they are to be used.
